Adoptable Dog of the Week – Balto

Balto, our Adoptable Dog of the Week, boasts movie-star good looks and wonderful manners. He’s an adult Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute mix from Hastings, Nebraska. Balto is already neutered and up to date with shots.

Balto’s Tale:

I am one handsome fella! Big, powerful and always ready to go! I’m only 1 1/2 years old. Although I weigh 57 pounds today, I will grow a bit more as well as put on muscle mass. I am a very patient boy, which is a total surprise. I will wait and not even look at a single bit of kibble until I am cleared to take it gently from your hand. It’s a wonderful game and gives me the chance to use my brain and bond with people.

I am playful. Bounding and play bowing until you engage with me is another one of my favorite sports. I will need plenty of regular exercise. You couldn’t select a better friend to share this winter weather with than me.
